Diagnose · Cabin Operations Audit
An evidence-based assessment
of your cabin operation.
The EDAERO Cabin Operations Audit is a structured, evidence-based professional assessment for private jet operators, aircraft management companies and corporate flight departments. It identifies operational gaps, inconsistency, risk and missed opportunities across 16 defined operational areas — and gives management a clear, prioritized view of what to fix first.
What the Audit Is
Not a checklist.
A structured diagnosis.
The audit is an operational assessment, not a regulatory inspection. It examines how your cabin operation actually functions — governance, readiness, mission workflow, service delivery, provisioning, cost control, documentation and quality — and produces evidence-based findings your management team can act on.
It is the diagnostic entry point of the EDAERO Operator Solutions ecosystem: Diagnose → Design → Implement → Measure → Sustain.
Who It Is For
Built for
operators, not individuals.
- Private jet operators
- Aircraft management companies
- Corporate flight departments
- Cabin operations and training departments
- Aviation management teams responsible for cabin performance
Why an Operator Needs It
You cannot standardize
what you haven't measured.
Inconsistency Across Crews
Different crews and missions deliver different standards, without a shared reference point to close the gap.
Undocumented Risk
Gaps in SOPs, training or controls often stay invisible until they cause a failure in front of a passenger or owner.
Cost Leakage
Weak provisioning, inventory or vendor controls quietly add cost without anyone owning the problem.
Unclear Ownership
When responsibilities are not clearly assigned, corrective action has nowhere to land.
Scope of Assessment
16 operational areas
Every audit engagement assesses the same 16 operational areas, using a structured control set applied consistently across the operation.
Each area is assessed against a structured, evidence-based control set developed from real private aviation cabin operations — applied consistently by EDAERO across every engagement, so results are comparable mission to mission and year to year.
How the Audit Runs
A structured, ten-phase lifecycle
EDAERO runs every audit through a defined ten-phase lifecycle, moving from initial scoping through evidence-based assessment, analysis, reporting and follow-up review. It is built so the same discipline applies whether your fleet is one aircraft or a full operation, and so results are directly comparable over time.
Phase 1–2
Scoping & Engagement Definition
Fleet, bases, crew structure and audit scope are agreed before work begins.
Phase 3–4
Evidence Collection & Data Review
SOPs, records, systems and existing controls are reviewed against the 16 operational areas.
Phase 5–6
On-Site / Remote Assessment
Structured, evidence-based assessment against the defined control set, applying auditor judgment at every step.
Phase 7
Findings & Prioritization
Findings are classified and prioritized using a likelihood × consequence methodology.
Phase 8–9
Management Reporting
Executive summary and detailed findings report delivered directly to leadership.
Phase 10
Corrective Action Verification
Progress against agreed corrective actions is tracked and, where scoped, re-verified on follow-up.
Evidence-Based Assessment
Findings, not
impressions.
Every finding is supported by evidence — documentation, records, observed practice or data — and scored using a defined scale. Findings are classified as a Finding, an Observation, or an Improvement Opportunity, so management can distinguish between what must be corrected and what is simply worth improving.
Financial findings are presented as Identified Cost Exposure or Potential Savings Opportunity, each tied to a stated data source, period and method — so recommendations are grounded and directly actionable.
What Management Receives
Plus a standalone executive summary for leadership review, and an area-by-area scorecard showing where the operation is strong and where it needs attention.
After the Audit
Diagnosis leads to a plan,
not a filed report
The audit report is the starting point for the Design, Implement, Measure and Sustain stages of Operator Solutions — applied only where you choose to proceed.
Design
Findings inform the manuals, SOPs, forms and service standards built in the Design stage.
Implement
Customized training closes the specific gaps the audit identified.
Measure
The Cabin Operations Performance Program tracks whether the corrective actions are working.
Sustain — Follow-Up Verification
A follow-up audit confirms corrective actions were implemented and are holding under real operating conditions.
